En V.O. (11): Selección de novedades. The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom, Darksiders, The Shadowmage Trilogy (Kerberos)...

Os presentamos algunas novedades destacadas de género fantástico para este mes de mayo. Por un lado nos hacemos eco de The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom, una novela escrita por Christopher Healy e ilustrada por Todd Harris que nos recrea en clave de fantasía y humor los avatares de todos aquellos valerosos príncipes de ensueño, responsables del rescate de inmumerables princesas como Rapunzel, Blancanieves o la Bella Durmiente, pero que con el tiempo y la ayuda de los bardos han pasado a conocerse simplemente y genéricamente como "Príncipe Encantador".

Se publica también la primera novela de "Darksiders" basada en el juego homónimo de Vigil Games y THQ, en el que nos introducíamos en el papel de Guerra, uno de los Jinetes del Apocalipsis que busca venganza tras haber sido traicionado. La novela, escrita por Ari Marmell, servirá de enlace para la inminente secuela del juego en Darksiders II (más información).

Finalmente, destacamos la publicación en formato ómnibus de las tres primeras novelas pertenecientes al ciclo de fantasía apocaliptica "The Twilight of Kerberos", y que forman la saga de Lucius Kane, uno de los personajes de la novela. el volumen incluye: Shadow Mage de Matthew Sprange, The Clockwork King of Orl y The Crucible of the Dragon God, ambas de Mike Wild.

Asimismo, desde finales de abril podemos encontrar en las librerías en lengua inglesa la octava novela de Stephen King perteneciente al ciclo de "La Torre Oscura", aunque esta tiene lugar entre Mago y Cristal y Lobos del Calla, cuarta y quinta entregas respectivamente. Más información:
